New Install Failing

Two new builds built on CentOS 7 in Digitalocean plenty of memory ram etc cant even get the login screen up "This site can"t be reached" / ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED in browser. 1.1.1.1:2087 1.1.1.1:2086 Anyone else having issues?

  Hello no, these are clean installs I was having the issue before, I have also added CSF and it makes no difference, I can still SSH but nothing beyond that.

  Can I note that after # systemctl start firewalld.service # /scripts/configure_firewall_for_cpanel script returns this... /scripts/configure_firewall_for_cpanel: /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/perl: bad interpreter: No such file or directory

  I've seen this happen when a lack of available disk space prevented the installation from completing successfully. Do you see sufficient space available when running the "df -h" command? If disk space isn't an issue, feel free to open a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can take a closer look and see what happened. Thank you.

  Well Iv just done a build with CentOS 6 rather than CentoOS 7 at it worked so I will leave it a that

  You may want to report this to your provider if you are using their images to install the OS and cPanel, as opposed to manually installing a minimal CentOS 7 instance and then installing cPanel using the steps in our documentation. Thank you.

  Unfortunately I have destroyed the instances now, but there would have been 40gb of space and 2gb

  Over the last week I've tried installing cPanel (alone or with Cloudlinux) on Centos 7 VPS' provided by Linode, Vultr, and Digital Ocean. Perhaps 15 attempts in total, none of which ran to completion (in one case it appeared to have completed, but it was not in fact working). Sounds like your issue might have been similar. I believe I have followed the installation instructions on the cPanel website to the letter when preparing the VPS (disable SELinux if enabled, disable firewalls and NetworkManager etc). At the end I created a support ticket, and the support staff were able to perform an installation for me on Linode (8709001). Not sure what they did different, if anything. (The only thing I did differently when preparing this VPS was that I did not run yum update prior to letting cPanel support have a go).

  Hi Tom, It's possible the issue is with the CentOS 7 images offered by those providers, however we'd also like to rule out any problems with the cPanel installer. Is this something you can reproduce? Thank you.
