Apache & Tomcat port confliction issue
Hello
Recently, I leased new godaddy dedicated server. The OS is CentOS 6.9 and apache was installed by default.
My website developers installed tomcat for new website.
The default apache was using port 80 which is default website port.
So I changed apache port from 80 to 8079 for the tomcat to use port 80.
However, my developer told me that, deamon is up but port 80 is still dead.
Any solution for this or any missing item?
I've been trying to resolve this issue for a month now, but even godaddy didn't give me the clear answer.
If this is not solved, my website url would be www.mycompany.com:8080 instead of www.mycompany.com.
Please help me!!!

Hello, You may find this third-party URL helpful: Tomcat Webapp on port 80 Keep in mind that Tomcat is unsupported, so you may need to consult with a qualified system administrator for help setting it up, especially if you are using EasyApache 4. Thank you. 0
