    Hello, Try to fix your issue using below steps : cd /var/spool/exim/db rm -f retry retry.lockfile rm -f wait-remote_smtp wait-remote_smtp.lockfile service exim restart

    Hello, You can use the "telnet" command if it's installed on your system to test a connection to the remote mail server to rule out any firewall rules. EX:
    telnet remote-mail-server 25
