Website Down - database deleted
Hi all, our company website has gone down and after a bit of investigation it seems that the database has been deleted. Our hosting company has told me that they don't take backups of the database so I cant even restore it. I am a bit of a beginner when it comes to websites etc but am experienced in other aspects of IT. I need to get it up and running again. Is there anyway to rebuild the DB or will I need to get a web developer involved? I have been told that it on Cpanel but I am not 100% sure as the website is hosted on Windows 2003 server and the database was MSSQL2005.

Hello @Lunadreams, You won't be able to restore the data that was stored in the database without a backup. You can consult with the developer of the script to see if a fresh copy of the database structure is available to get your website running again (minus the data itself). Thank you. 0
