Redirects not working after 66.00.4 update
I've just logged into the server and had to complete the feature update for 66.00.4 to log in.
After this all the Rewrites from htaccess files no longer work. This includes all wordpress sites. Virtually every site on the server uses redirects for the URLs. It does not seem to matter what version of php a site is using. I tried updating it to 66.00.5 but it does not appear to have fixed it.
I've submitted a ticket (8744893) but thought it was worth posting here too.

Hello, It looks like this issue stemmed from custom Apache templates located in the /var/cpanel/templates/apache2_4 directory. The custom templates were missing the appropriate "AllowOverride" entries. Removing the custom templates and rebuilding the Apache configuration file via "/scripts/rebuildhttpdconf" solved the issue. Thank you. 0 -

You should not remove the default template files. The only files you would move out of the way as a workaround are the ".local" template files. Feel free to open a support ticket using the link in my signature if you'd like us to take a closer look. Thank you.0
