Backup to multiple locations
Hi all
I am not sure if I am missing something - but I want to simply have several backup jobs like this;
1) Have a weekly full compressed backup going to S3
2) Have a daily incremental, uncompressed backup to local disk
3) (in version 66) have a twice weekly backup (compressed) going to Google Drive.
So - the six million dollar question is - how to set up these individual backup jobs?
It seems to me that I can only choose one backup job in WHM.
Is that correct or if not, I must be missing how to add further backup jobs?
EDIT: For clarity, perhaps the title of this post should be "More than one backup job" but I wasn't able to see how to edit it.
Thanks

Hello, When you select incremental backups, the system will not change or alter the state of your other non-incremental backup destinations. However, it's not possible to configure separate retention periods for each destination at this time. I encourage you to vote for the existing feature request for that at: Ability to control retention for S3 Backup Destination Thank you. 0 -
Hi It's not so much retention period - I just want to be able to create e.g. 3 separate back up jobs (different locations and retention). I assume it would be possible through separate cron jobs - just wondering why there is not any UI support for that! Thanks PS I got email notification of a reply from another user, but that post is missing from this thread - is there a problem with your system or were they removed? Just curious and wanted to let you know. 0 -

Sometimes we'll remove posts that are spam, make no sense, or are inaccurate in some way and take away from the thread's issue. There are zero issues with our system. :)0 -

Here's the default backup cron job found in /var/spool/cron/root:0 2 * * * /usr/local/cpanel/bin/backup
You could edit this cron job to run multiple times per day, but there's no support for using a different destination or retention setting each time it runs. Thank you.0
