Unable to set Comodo WAF automatic update
Hello,
Our server runs on Apache/2.4.25 (cPanel), CENTOS 7.3 x86_64 virtuozzo " cPanel & WHM 64.0 (build 32) and PHP7.0.
When trying to set ComodoWAF automatic update at Home>ComodoWAF>Configuration tab, it will result in the error "Error Request to Server Failed".
I contacted Comodo support, they replied as below. Is there any way to fix this? Any advice is welcome.

Hello.
We found the next error in logs:
# tail -f /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log
Can't use an undefined value as a symbol reference at /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/perl/524/lib64/perl5/cpanel_lib/Config/Crontab.pm line 299.
[2017-08-02 07:50:22 -0400] info [whostmgrd] Internal Server Error: "POST /cpsess8677856477/cgi/cwaf_main.cgi HTTP/1.1" 500 No response from subprocess (/usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/cwaf_main.cgi): The subprocess reported error number 25 when it ended.
It seems to be a bug in cPanel Crontab.pm

Hello, Could you open a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can take a closer look at the affected system? Thank you. 0 -
Thank you Michael, I am facing problems with ticket creation through WHM. If I type my userid, it will request I insert my email. When I type my email, it will inform user and password are incorrect. They are not incorrect, they are the same I use here. I created an account at cPanel Customer Portal but the login issue (wrong user and password) continues. Is there any other way to submit a ticket? Rgs IM 0 -
Is there any other way to submit a ticket?
You can send an email directly to cs @ cpanel.net requesting assistance and our Customer Service Department can direct your request to Technical Support. Thank you.0 -
Just for the sake of helping with the Ticket Creation inside WHM, the error message after around 10 minutes wating for the Cpanel login is "Error:The cPanel Customer Portal authorization window appears closed, but the server did not receive an authorization response." Hope to have helped. Thank you, sending the email to cs at cpanel net now. Edit: email sent, thanks. 0 -
but the login issue (wrong user and password) continues.
You can reset your password easy enough from here: cPanel Customer Portal Creating a ticket from WebHost Manager works fine, but there are several windows to click thru if you're not logged into the ticket system already, and/or need to reset your password. Silly of me to mention I'm sure [:)] but:They are not incorrect, they are the same I use here.
Your login details might be the same of course, but the ticket system is not connected to these forums in any way.0 -
Email sent. Thanks. 0 -
@Infopro thank you. The ticket is opened and under way. 0 -

Hello, The issue was caused by a conflict between ComodoWAF and mod_security. Though I see that there are warnings about this incompatibility, I had used both together since years without any issue. The solution now is to disabel one of them, which I did and the issue is fixed. Thanks IM 0
