Enabling DNSSec
Hi @cPanelMichael ,
Can you explain me why I cannot see the DNSSEC feature on my Zone Editor? I run latest version of cpanel here.

Guess I got my answer, this will not work in a cluster. In that case, how can I maintain a sync between two dns servers... 0 -
Hello, That's correct. DNSSEC is not compatible with DNS clustering at this time. You can enable clustering, but DNSSEC will not work when clustering is enabled, and you must disable DNSSEC for any domain names you previously enabled it for before you can enable clustering. There's a feature request open for this at: DNSSEC support in Clustering Thank you. 0 -
Question... This thread three months old. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places, but cannot find how to enable DNSSEC. Was any fix for this put in place by chance? If not... Is there some tool I can use to manually create then edit the zone record on the server and add it (so I have something to supply after, at the domain name registrar level)? Thank you! 0 -

You can enable DNSSEC for a domain name using the "Zone Editor" feature in cPanel. We document the requirements at: Zone Editor - Version 68 Documentation - cPanel Documentation Thanks!0 -
Hello Everyone, Here's the latest update on the status of DNSSEC support with DNS clustering in cPanel & WHM: benny@cpanel.net ? 17 hours ago Hey all! Just a quick update to say this is currently targeted at cPanel & WHM Version 84, which is aimed at being released in September. As always, it's very, very early in the development cycle and many things can move in the meantime, but I wanted to give y'all that quick update. We'll be back with more information as soon as we have it!
I recommend following the feature request for additional updates: DNSSEC support in Clustering Thanks!0 -
Hello, I have two cPanel DNSonly, both are 84.0.12 with powerdns, but dnssec not displayed for me in zone editor. What are missing? 0 -
We have 100s of domains on our server. Is there a way to globally disable DNSSEC? Is there a way to determine which domains have DNSSEC enabled? 0 -

One way to disable it is in the Feature manager, WHM -> Packages -> Feature Manager , disable Manage DNSSEC.0 -
As an update in the event any others see this, at this time cPanel supports DNSSEC with clustering on PowerDNS. Please see our documentation here: DNSSEC | cPanel & WHM Documentation 0
