Rearrange an Account
Hello, i am new here and first post.
At the moment I have a dedicated server.
I have a / home partition of 1TB, and a new partition / home2 of 2tb.
/ Home of 1TB, is about to fill its space, and I have large accounts there, one of 470Gb and another of 140Gb.
I already moved several small accounts up to 50Gb, it took time, but in the end they moved to / home2 and they work normal, I would like to know, if there will be big problems, in trying to move the accounts I mentioned to / home2.
Thanks!

Hello, Yes, the Rearrange An Account feature will work for the larger accounts as long as there's sufficient space on the target partition. Let us know if you encounter any difficulties. Thank you. 0 -

Thanks for reply. I have read that after moving large accounts there are some flaws, and have to verify files as /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf / Etc / passwd / Etc / proftpd / Etc / proftpd / passwd /etc/proftpd/passwd.vhosts0 -
Hello, Could you let us know where you read about those issues? I'm not aware of any existing cases where the Rearrange An Account option fails due to the size of the account. Thank you. 0 -

Hello, That message indicates that some of the files that exist under the account were deleted during the process of moving the account to a new partition. This is normal in cases where an account stores temporary files, and should not result in any issues. The second part of your image is simply showing the Apache configuration file was successfully built with the new home directory path. Thank you. 0
