Domain Only SSL
I have a purchased single SSL certificate, which is valid for domain.com and www.domain.com. When I install it to domain via cPanel, it also installs the ssl for mail.domain.com (which is not included in ssl and is invalid).
Is there any way to install the ssl only for domain.com and www.domain.com?

Only if its wild card SSL it will get installed for mail. and other subdomain. By default if you try to install SSL from Cpanel /WHM for only domain.com and www.domain.com it should get installed for the domain only and no other subdomain. 0 -
But in the select box for Domain is it (domain.com +subdomains: mail, www) and installs also to mail.domain.com and it is marked as red as it's not included in SSL. Cpanel v64.0.36 0 -
Hello, Here's a quote from the cPanel interface when installing a SSL certificate: When you install a valid certificate onto a website, the system also configures email, calendar, web disk, and cPanel-related services to use that certificate for all of the website"s domains that match the certificate. Requests to these services from SNI-enabled clients via the matching domains will receive the installed certificate.
You can read more about the Domain TLS functionality at: What is Domain TLS - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation The following document is also helpful in understanding the SSL installation workflow: The SSL Install and Precedence Logic - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation Let us know if this helps. Thank you.0
