How to enable ssl for mail services for customer's domain?
Hello,
We are going to be migrating about customers from an old cpanel server to a new cpanel server.
On the old server, the customers are using "server.hostname.com" for their incoming/outgoing mail server name, because only the server's hostname has an SSL certificate that can be used for securely connecting to POP/IMAP/SMTP.
If I understand correctly, the new AutoSSL feature included in cpanel means that the customer can get a free ssl cert for "theirdomain.com" and use it to connect securely to POP/IMAP/SMTP. (Is that correct?)
If this is correct... how can we make sure this certificate is created when their account is transferred, so the customer can start using "theirdomain.com" as the incoming/outgoing mail server name and continue to connect securely?
Thanks!

Hello, You can simply enable the AutoSSL feature and it will automatically attempt to issue a free cPanel-signed SSL certificate to the domain name (the process can take up to 48 hours). You can read more about AutoSSL and Domain TLS at: Manage AutoSSL - Documentation - cPanel Documentation What is Domain TLS - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation Thank you.0
