Standard SSL Certificate
Hello.
I have two servers with whm. In both of them i have configured the same domain (mydomain.org)
Machine A WHM1 -> mydomain.org
Machine B WHM2 -> mydomain.org
In the first Machine i have FTP and Web, in production, for mydomain.org (www.mydomain.org, ftp.mydomain.org).
In the other one, i have only mail.mydomain.org and webmail.mydomain.org.
I bought recently a Standard Certificate with Godaddy for the domain.
My question is: Shall i purchase another one for the same domain in the second machine, or can i use the same certificate since it's the same domain?
A last question, During the generation of the CSR, what name shoud i use for the domain,
www.mydomain.org or only mydomain.org for these servers?

Hello, Have you considered using the AutoSSL feature for this domain name? It's documented at: Manage AutoSSL - Documentation - cPanel Documentation Thank you. 0 -
Hello. I need to set a ssl certificate for my web (www.mydomain.org) Is it better to install it from Cpanel or WHM. I don"t know if i must install it as www.mydomain.org or only for domain.org Could you help me please' 0 -
Hello, Is this for a commercial SSL certificate, or are you using the free SSL certificate offered through the AutoSSL feature? Thank you. 0 -
A Commercial one, by Godaddy (Standar SSL). I don"t know if for securing my website i need to put www.mydomian.org or mydomain.org in the whm domain filed? The fact is that i have the same domain installed on three different machines all with WHM 0 -
Hello, You'd typically simply enter "domain.tld" and the "www" prefix should be included by default. Thank you. 0 -
But i have more subdomains on the same machine. sub1.mydomine.org and sub2.mydomine.org Also i have mydomine.org with other subdomains on another machine. Dose it matter if i put www.mydomine.org? 0 -
Hello, Did you purchase a multi-domain SSL certificate? Thank you. 0 -
No. Its a standard one 0 -
Hello, The certificate will only secure "domain.tld" and "www.domain.tld". Simply paste the CRT into the available field when installing the certificate in WHM and the remaining fields should automatically populate. Note that it won't secure subdomains associated with the domain name. You may want to consider using the AutoSSL feature if that's what you are looking for, as that will secure all of your domain names and subdomains: Manage AutoSSL - Documentation - cPanel Documentation Thank you. 0 -
Ok so i'll try to create the certificate for domain.ltd in whm in order to sign It with GoDaddy then i'll install It on my domain. But sincerly i don't know if i can create the certificate putting in the domain filed: www.domain.ltd instead of domain.tld. 0 -
Could you tell me if it is better to generate/install the new certificate for my domain, from WHM interface or From the Cpanel interface? 0 -

You can generate the CSR/Key using cPanel or WHM. Both methods will work. Use "domain.tld" for the domain name. Thank you.0
