I like to know which procedure or command is the correct way to perform on CentOS. GeoIP Geo location PECL extension.

  The instructions in the web page mentioned in that thread came from May last year and no longer work as they rely on external file locations that no longer exist. Specifically step 7. I have the same issue as OP.

  This URL (from step 7) works for me, are you saying it doesn't for you?
