Add mx records for subdomains in the new interface
Hello @MediaServe, This functionality is now offered in cPanel version 64: Fixed case CPANEL-11935: Zone Editor: allow users to add MX records for their subdomains. It's now possible to browse to "cPanel >> Zone Editor >> Manage >> Add Record >> Add MX Record" and replace the "name" field with the subdomain name instead of the parent domain name. Thank you.
I am a website owner and using cPanel 64.0.36 but still get an error while adding MX record to a subdomain, "Sorry, you do not have access to the domain subdomain.domain.sld.cctld"

Hello, Internal case CPANEL-15406 is open to address an issue where "cPanel >> Zone Editor" does not allow the creation of MX records for subdomains that have not first been added to the account via "cPanel >> Subdomains". I'll monitor the case and update this thread with more information as it becomes available. In the meantime, the workaround is to first add the subdomain to the cPanel account using "cPanel >> Subdomains". Thank you. 0
