I found the main_log, different location. If I am reading this right, there is a remote host lookup before email is sent and that is most likely the lag. My question remains, is this correct at how you setup emails using Gmail? Or should I be using Local Mail Exchanger with a setting to all outbound emails without setting up an email account.

Hi Fred, Could you provide some more details about how you'd like to configure email? For instance, is email handled by a remote name server (e.g. Gmail), or are you simply forwarding emails sent to your domain names to a Gmail address? Have you configured the MX records for the domain names to point to the remote mail server? Is your goal to have all email handled by Gmail, or simply to ensure any emails sent by users through the cPanel server are routed through Gmail? Thank you.

When forms on the web site that can be filled out, and it uses PHP Mail to send those requests to our Gmail Email address. That is all we using it for. We do not have incoming emails at all. I have the MX Records for Google and I have it setup as Local Mail Exchanger. When an email is sent it gets froze in Mail Queue -- "No Such User Here" message. If I switch to Remote Mail Exchanger, emails are sent; but there is a delay. Is this normal? And is there away around this?

This is the correct method of ensuring the message is delivery to the remote mail server. How long is the delay? You may want to review your resolvers in the /etc/resolv.conf file to see if they match the ones provided by your data center if the host lookup step is taking longer than expected. Thank you.
