Two processes of clamd
Hello everyone,
I've just noticed I have 2 processes of clamd running on my server after a reboot. (not same owner and command).
I think it's recent, it was not like this few weeks ago.
I sent the command "rpm -qa|grep clam" to check if I have 2 installation of clamd and I think it's the case.
What should I do? Delete / uninstall one? But which one?
Thank you!
Phil

Here's what mine says: root [/]# rpm -qa|grep clam cpanel-clamav-virusdefs-0.99.2-2.cp1164.x86_64 cpanel-clamav-0.99.2-2.cp1164.x86_640 -
Hi! thank you for your reply! Ok so apparently I have way too many things installed! Do you have an idea how to clean this up? (I paste my result in the same layout as you. It's more efficient than screenshot) [root]# rpm -qa|grep clam cpanel-clamav-0.99.2-2.cp1164.x86_64 cpanel-clamav-virusdefs-0.99.2-2.cp1164.x86_64 clamd-0.99.2-2.el6.x86_64 clamav-db-0.99.2-2.el6.x86_64 clamav-0.99.2-2.el6.x86_640 -
This page should be of use to you: ClamavNet 0 -
Thank you, I will try that. I'll try to keep the thread updated for other users with the same situation. Best, Phil 0
