Show same website on different domain
Hi all,
I have assigned the DNS of another domain also to my VPS, but I get the 'cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi' cPanel page on that domain instead of the website that is on the VPS.
My provider told me that I have to set up an account in cPanel or WHM for that domain, so that it shows the actual website.
How do I go about that. Where can I set this up?
Thanks,
Ralph

Hello, You can add the domain name as an "Alias" on the existing domain name you want it to show the contents of: Aliases - Version 66 Documentation - cPanel Documentation Thank you. 0 -
Thanks, @cPanelMichael ! I did that and I noticed that it now redirects the domain to the other domain. Thus the URL if the domain changes to the URL of the other domain. What I would like is to show the same content on both domains. I've noticed the 'Park a domain' option in WHM, but if I use that then I still get the 'cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi' cPanel page on that domain instead of the same content of the other domain. 0 -

This should not happen by default. Do you have any custom Mod_Rewrite rules that are redirecting the access attempts to the aliased domain name? Thank you.0 -
