Un-dedicate an IP
I've read a lot of dedicating / sharing ip threads but can't seem to find the one that covers my case, and following the suggestions on the other threads haven't worked out for my situation.
I have 3 IPs.
#1 - main shared IP with many sites
#2 - hosts site "A"
#3 - hosts site "B"
I'd like to not have any dedicated IPs, I'd like to move the sites around all 3 IPs at will, but continue to use #1 as the main share.
Looking at "Show/Edit Reserved IPs", the only IPs that are checked off are local network (192.168 and 172). The three IPs above are NOT checked.
When I go to move any site from #1, it shows that #2 is "dedicated to acct A" and won't let me move it there, but I could move it to #3.
How can I "un-dedicate" that IP so that I can assign other sites to it just like I can for #3?

Go through the below documentation. Change Site's IP Address - Documentation - cPanel Documentation and after following the steps, make sure the DNS records pointing to the right IP. 0 -
well in such case, you will need a spare IP so that you can make changes accordingly using that spare IP. 0 -
Can you tell me why I can move sites from #1 to #3 but not #1 to #2? 0 -
