SMTP connection error with TLS
Some outlook clients are no longer able to connect for send mail .No changes on client config, no changes on server (only update to 66) . i make some tests and i cannot reproduce problem on my PC .it appears to be a problem on old versions (2007 outlook).with another mail client customer PC it works with no problem.
1 example on exim mainlog
2017-09-04 09:18:56 SMTP connection from [CUSTOMER_IPADDRESS]:1412 (TCP/IP connection count = 2)
2017-09-04 09:18:56 TLS error on connection from (CUSTOMER_HOST) [CUSTOMER_IPADDRESS]:1412 (SSL_accept): error:1408A0C1:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_CLIENT_HELLO:no shared cipher
2017-09-04 09:18:56 TLS client disconnected cleanly (rejected our certificate?)
what kind of problem is this?? thanks

Our clients also have the same problem with Microsfoft Outlook 2007. Now, they cannot send out email, and can only receive. However, the emails are working, if they use Thunderbird Our cPanel is 66.17. 0 -
just for now a workaround for us is to disable "Require clients to connect with SSL or issue the STARTTLS command before they are allowed to authenticate with the server. " in exim configuration manager/ security section and also disable encrypted connection on clients but we don't like this of course... thanks for anyone can help please bye 0 -
Agreed, exactly the same issue we're in. Older versions of Outlook (specifically 2007) have started giving outgoing issues this week after we upgraded to 66 over the weekend. It appears to specifically give issues on TLS port 587 - setting to no encryption or using SSL on port 465 sends mails. 0 -
for me is not working TLS 587 nor SSL 465 0 -
