Another way to fighting with Spam

Hello friends, I just got a new solution to fight with Spam. It has better track down and appropriate to our environment to stop Spam. It may useful for my friends in CPanel Form. Original problem:

• Customers"s computer got virus infected and those virus send out huge number of mail through our SMTP and finally we got into RBL blacklist.
• Some email has pipe command to send autoresponder back to the sender. So spammer will send mail from many IPs to this email in order to get autoresponder to send out spam.
• Customer uses weak password, it is easy get email hacked
• Website has upload feature and Spammer upload script to send bulk email

Even if I have done most of tweak settings from this forum but sometime spam mail can send out from the server. Although, we limit number of email per hours, when it reset to new hours, I think spam that sit in the queue can send again. Moreover, it may end up 1000+ mails in the queue. What I did: 48723I developed a free service call BotScout using CPanel API. It is a robot that helps to monitor server as well as mail queue. It works through chat application such as Slack, Messenger and LINE. Below is the capture screen from chat session when monitor server. In the picture, BotScout send alert when number of mail in queue higher than usual. (179 in this case). At that minute, server received 57 mails from the same user which was not normal for us. So, our admin first suspended the email and went to investigate. 3 mins later after clean up the queue, the number of mail queue is back to normal. I plan to automate it to minimize human intervention such as remove mails from queue by matching the sender in the queue, find the script from apache log in case of the email was send from script, etc... Installation:

• First, you need to talk to bot to create account
• Second, Follow installation at https://help.botscout.net/knowledge-base/installation/
• Last, install addon by type "@install_addon sz cpanel_mailq", you need to chage "sz" to your server name.
