Email from own domain going into junk
Hi,
One of my client is facing a problem that
if
zahida.ali@example.com is sending email inside organization to
najib.khan@example.com its going into his junk folder
I personally verified by check / sending emails its happening.
Spam Assassin is disabled
No Email filter setup.
but still email are going into najib.khan junk.
I setup Email filter that if from contain zahida.ali@example.com its deliver to najib.khan@example.com inbox but still its delivering into junk of najib.khan
pls help..

Hello, Is it going to the JUNK folder when using IMAP/Webmail, or is this happening when using an email client installed on a local computer? Could you post the output from /var/log/exim_mainlog for one of the affected messages? EX: exigrep user@domain.tld /var/log/exim_mainlog

Hello, Can you verify if there are any plugins or settings setup for Outlook on the user that's encountering this issue? It looks like a local computer setting as opposed to a server setting. EX: IT Help - TurnOffOutlookJunkEmailFiltering Thank you.0 -
Hello. I have same problem. All emails sent from me to me ar going to JUNK. It's not a client side issue, because i have changed the password and used only the Webmail Client. I also tried to delete/recreate the account. I also deactivated SpamAssasin. Nothing works. All my emails are going to junk. Also, other incoming emails are going to junk. It is an account related issue, because this happens only on one email address. I have no filters set up, so filters aren't the problem either. How can i check step by step where the email gets marked as JUNK and moved to JUNK folder? I talked to the hosting company and they said that nothing is marking the email as spam and still is going to JUNK folder. Thank you. 0 -

Does this happen if you check your email via a Webmail client (e.g. SquirrelMail, Roundcube) instead of your local email client? Thank you.0
