Hello, I'll leave this thread open for user-feedback, however I did want to note a few third-party URLs you may find helpful: Virtuozzo or XenServer | Web Hosting Talk KVM or Xen | Web Hosting Talk Thanks!

Thank you. I've used Web Hosting Talk in the past. That's where I came up with that one formula, that says a 100Mbps uplink could support, decently, 128 users. To me, that meant 20Mbps uplink could support around 25. I will read the links you've sent me to. I know there is a lot of different options out there and I'd like to make sure whatever choice we make, it's fully compatible with cPanel. We plan on running cPanel dedicated on the server itself (paid for, of course), and then we wanted to make sure if customers wanted it installed, they wouldn't run into any compatibilities issues (such as they might if we were running Linux containers in an unprivileged environment). We've called our local Small Business Development Center and have asked for an appointment. If anyone wants to offer any advice, we're interested in hearing what you have to say. Thanks.

Honestly, this is more of a topic for over on WHT than here.

Yes, but over there, they might not specifically be using cPanel, right? I'm interested in knowing specifically from cPanel users that run virtualization software. The plan is to install the dedicated version of cPanel and from the cPanel documentations, depending on which virtualization software I chose, I might run into certain issues, hence the reason I asked here. Google provides answers to the different virtualization software that's out there and the pro's and con's for each one, but I couldn't really find much stuff specifically on virtualization software and cPanel (the dedicated version). I'm trying to get a feel for what would be best with cPanel installed on the host PC. Thanks for the input. I am still continuing my research (for more than just virtualization software) and although I already know about Web Hosting Talk and have been using it, I still appreciate the recommendation. Thank you.

So you run cPanel on the host server and you're running cPanel dedicated on that host server? That's what we're leaning towards right now. If you do have this setup, is there anything you don't like about it? Anything you love? Thanks.
