locally hosted email
Beginner here - just got handed the keys to a root account with many domains.
I needed to create email accounts that are able to receive mail, don't need to be able to send for admin purposes only.
Not sure if there are mx records missing or what, but I was able to create the emails admin@mydomain.com and can only send but not receive on the webmail.
Any guidance would be helpful.

Hello, The following third-party URL can help you determine if the MX records are properly configured: MX Lookup Tool - Check your DNS MX Records online - MxToolbox Let us know what you find. Thank you.0 -
Thanks, I basically just need to know how to set the mx records so that I can send/receive from local server. Looks like they are there but SMTP can't connect. 0 -

Do you notice any output to /var/log/exim_mainlog when sending a test email to this email address? EX:exigrep user@domain /var/log/exim_mainlog
Thank you.0
