Help with CNAME

Hello, I am setting up a branded url shortener. To do it, I created a subdomain go.mydomain.com and as per instructions am trying to add the following CNAME, please check screenshot here -- Removed - However, it will not work - Removed - CNAME Syntax seems good, I am at a loss why it will result in error. Any advice is welcome! :)

  Hello, Could you let us know the specific error message you are receiving? Is the CNAME record pointing towards an external domain name, or a domain name hosted on the cPanel server? Thank you.
