    Hello, Do you notice any error messages for this account in the most recent backup log within the /usr/local/cpanel/logs/cpbackup/ directory? Thank you.

    Yep: [2017-10-03 02:09:25 -0400] The "Mysql" failed with an error: Invalid MySQL version: "" at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/MysqlUtils/Version.pm line 40. How to resolve?

    Hello, Can you let us know the contents of the /etc/my.cnf file on this system? Also, please post the output from the following commands:
    mysql -V grep mysql-version /var/cpanel/cpanel.config rpm -qa|grep MySQL rpm -qa|grep MariaDB

    This issue has been resolve for me. In my case it was a bad directive in the /etc/my.cnf [mysqldump] section.
