Alert messages - genuine or not?
I'm being emailed messages about 'excessive resource usage', like the following:
Time: Fri Oct 6 17:45:08 2017 +0100
Account: a**********t
Resource: Virtual Memory Size
Exceeded: 491 > 200 (MB)
Executable: /opt/cpanel/ea-php70/root/usr/bin/php-cgi
Command Line: /opt/cpanel/ea-php70/root/usr/bin/php-cgi /home/a*********t/public_html/index.php
PID: 1933 (Parent PID:29890)
Killed: No
and
Time: Fri Oct 6 17:02:59 2017 +0100
Account: w********g
Resource: Process Time
Exceeded: 275076 > 1800 (seconds)
Executable: /home/virtfs/w********g/usr/libexec/openssh/sftp-server
Command Line: /usr/libexec/openssh/sftp-server
PID: 2238 (Parent PID:2228)
Killed: No
In the first case, the size is the same in all messages - can I say to cPanel 'accept a larger VM size before complaining'?
In the second case, I have an ssh session open on my desktop, sometimes for days, so I'm not really concerned about its process time. Can I customize this alert to not carp about sessions that are open for protracted periods?

Hello, Those messages come from CSF/LFD as opposed to cPanel. You can find similiar discussions at: Process Tracking and csf.pignore - ConfigServer Community Forum Email Alerts from CSF Thank you. 0
