Server CPU spike after UPCP
Today I have been dealing with a a massive cpu spike on one of our servers which started after the UPCP ran last night at 5am UTC.
CPU went from below 1 to about 15 on average.
I finally got it under control by disabling mod_security after reading that the latest comodo rules had a problem. Fine I said switch to OWASP, but this also sent the load back up so I am concluding that the problem is not just with comodos rules.

As you can see there is also an increase in traffic but I am going to assume this is because mod_security has changed somehow and was failing to block or causing a problem and not blocking the trafic it should.

Hello, Can you verify if the issue persists after enabling Mod_Security and using the most recent rules update from Comodo? They released an update to address the load issues reported after the previous update. Thank you. 0
