Viewing logs question
Hi all,
Could someone please inform me on how to view logs on a specific email account.
Long story short, my business partner accessed my work email via cpanel and;
1. downloaded all of my emails to a computer and made a backup
2. deleted emails between myself, our attorneys and our accountants.
I know its possible for people to view the logs of everything that happens emails, I just don't know how to access the logs and to view them.
So;

- Could someone please explain to me how I can view the logs and use it as evidence.
- Provide insight as to whether or not it is possible that he could have tampered with the logs in any way, and if so, would there be a trail for that?
- Is there a way to verify the logs so that they can be used in a criminal case?
- Any other information that you can help with would be useful.

do you have any backups? 0 -

Hello, You will get all logs from your hosting provider. As you are website owner so you must contact you provider to get all suspicious logs. Cpanel access logs/last login logs etc will help you. 0 -
Hello, You won't be able to view the cPanel access log or the mail server log without root access to the system. You'd need to reach out to your web hosting provider for help obtaining this information. Thank you. 0
