Document Root for dedicated ip address
Hello
Do you know how to change default document root for dedicated ip address in cpanel?
We have an account with dedicated ip address and with some aliases and subdomains..
When I enter ip address in address bar, it show one of subdomains.
We want it to show main domain.
Is it possible?

Hello, Dedicated IP is showing your sudomain instead of main domain because in httpd.conf, whichever virtual host appears first for that IP will get displayed first in browser. Contact with your provider and ask him to liftup virtualhost entry for your main domain. 0 -

Thank you, I am server admin and I know this, I've deleted subdomain and added it again to resolve issue. But this is not a good idea. In other hand, I can not edit httpd.conf because I use easyapache 4 and apache 2.4, so any change will be revert.# Direct modifications to the Apache configuration file WILL be lost upon subsequent # regeneration of this configuration file, or an Apache update.0 -
Hello, This is answered on the following post: Prevent IP browsing as it does with the server's primary IP address You'd use these instructions and change the document root value to your preference. Thank you. 0
