Hello, The following option is available under the "Mail" tab in "WHM >> Exim Configuration Manager >> Basic Editor": EXPERIMENTAL: Rewrite From: header to match actual sender Per it's description: If you enabled this option, the From: header will be rewritten to be the email address of the actual message sender. If you choose the "remote" option, only messages that are being sent to remote destinations will be affected. You won't be able to change this behavior without root access to the server. You can check with your hosting provider to see if it's an option they are willing to modify. Thank you.

Thanks. They aren't willing to change it back. I guess my next question is can someone recommend a cheap and cheerful UK domain host who will allow me WHM access including this function? cheers

If you're looking for a new Web Host there are many to choose from! Here's a tool to find cPanel Partners all over the world you might like to know about: The Hosting Platform of Choice | cPanel, Inc.

Hi infopro - thanks for that. Indeed that's the issue - there are hundreds all over the world. I was really after a forum member from the UK who actually had experience with a particular flexible host, who knew I would be able to access the WHM and enable/disable this particular function regards

There are no Hosting Providers that'll give a Website Owner access to WebHost Manager. You're going to have to step up your game and get your own server which will give you full access to everything. Or, find another way to send email that's not, basically, spoofing.
    which I realise is spoofed?
