Better to create Addon Domains via cPanel or WHM?
Greetings, just looking for some advice on best practice here.
I've been using cPanel for many years on shared hosting, and am quite proficient with it. WHM is relatively new for me and with VPS, I've only scratched its surface when needed with a bit of Google on how to do this or that.
Normally I've simply created addon domains via shared hosting under cPanel. However now, my primary ecommerce site is running on VPS and is the primary account in the WHM.
If I were to run addon domains off this server, can I continue to just add them as addons in my primary domain's cPanel, or should I now be doing these as actual accounts under WHM instead?
Are there pros and cons to doing either? One thing I've noticed is that if I create subdomains or addon domains on my primary domain's cpanel, they still get the new auto-SSL cert feature added for them at the WHM level.. pretty cool.

Hello, One advantage to using a separate cPanel account over an addon domain name is that you can provide individual access to cPanel to manage the account (useful if it's managed by a different person).
