WHM Security Advisor 'nobody' bug?
Today I got an email from root telling me that user 'nobody' is allowed to send email and pointing me to the 'nobody' tweak. The trouble is that this tweak is already On. Is this a bug in Security Advisor?
WHM v66.0.26
Mail: Exim
Centos 7.3 virtuozzo
Firefox 56.0.1 (64 bit)

Hello, You have to change "Prevent nobody from sending mail" in Tweak Setting option to ON 0 -
indharajith, So sorry that you didn't notice that my posting included the remarkable fact that the Prevent Nobody option was already on. This turns out to be an example of several bugs in the analysis tool WHM > Security Center > Security Advisor. My technicians told me to ignore the two error messages and one warning message that currently remain. It seems to me that this reporting tool ought to be fixed. 0 -
Hi David, I didn't notice that. yes I'm also experienced some bugs in Security Advisor 0 -
Hello, I've been unable to reproduce this issue on a test system. Do you also see the notice in "WHM >> Security Advisor" or do you only see this warning in the email notification? Thank you. 0 -

Sorry to hear that. Yes, the messages in the actual Security Advisor were the same as those in the notification email. Testing will have to be done on my actual system, I'm afraid (I can give CPanel/WHM access). But, apparently, bugs in Security Advisor are well known and it is therefore not taken very seriously as a result. I say "apparently" because I have no other knowledge than what I've experienced and reported here.0 -

Hello, Here's the link: Create Support Ticket - Documentation - cPanel Documentation Thank you. 0 -
Michael, It is asking me for Login and Access Information. I don't understand how to provide SSH access. Why can't you just login with root user/pwd or use WHM and CPanel? Forgive my ignorance. 0 -
Never mind. I got through it somehow. The security part seem badly worded. There was a wizard to log into my server. 0
