Directory Privacy settings

hello I have an application that sends and receives meils that is badly secured, so I used Directory Privacy to protect it but I have a problem do not receive open rate from gmail. Before Directory Privacy we get open rate but now we do not I still get from yahoo and microsoft what can I do? are ports to open in the firewall?

  Directory Privacy block all open rate regardless of email service provider. Open rate is something like Delivery Confirmation / Read Confirmation With Directory Privacy open can open email ports somehow?
