Email not working via cloudflare
Hi all, I am having some issues with the two sites I run on a dedicated server, I am also running these sites through Cloud Flare.
The main issue is same for both sites.
1/ Webmail Works for both sites. Send and receive (Great)
2/ I cannot get the mail to work on a phone or desktop mail client.
I keep getting errors like server not responding.
3/ I have tried to run these email with mandrill and when I try to validate the domain by sending an email from mandrill, the mail just never turns up.
I though I had sorted the MX records cname etc however I am still having this issue, the sites also use cloud flare ssl cert.
Any clue as to what I am doing wrong ???, It's to the point now I have absolutely bamboozled myself :0
Any help is appreciated, I am a novice user, which may go some way to my issues :0)

Sorry all, I can only get into the webmail via cpanel, NOT through a web url.... 0 -
Hi Malcolm, THis is a very common issue that I have come across many times. When you use CloudFlare to manage your DNS settings/information and records you need to setup the subdomains "links" for cPanel to recognise. Example: cpanel.mydomain.com you need to add CNAME records before these links will work. You will also find that for mail to work on your phone you need to ensure that you have the correct MX records added in CloudFlare as well as set up on your WHM. If you can provide a screen capture of your CloudFlare layout this will greatly assist with assisting you to diagnose your issue. 0 -
