Keep having to log into WHM to access SSH

So for the last few months, every time I try to access SSH I get a refused connection error. If I then log into WHM and restart SSH service I can then log in. I just tried it again and it fixed it by me just logging into WHM. Any advice on how to prevent WHM from blocking SSH? Please remember the facts I just presented - I did not alter the firewall or anything. I just logged into WHM and it started working. Thank you.

  Hello, Do you notice any output to the /var/log/secure log file when the SSH connection is refused? Thank you.
