DNS Cluster - Adding another web server
We currently 1 dedicated server and 2 vps servers. Let's call them DEDICATED, VPSDNS1, VPSDNS2
The dedicated server has our client websites on it (cpanle/whm centos6)
We have 2 vps servers setup with cPanel DNSOnly running.
We want to add a new VPS to our setup for some additional client website hosting. Let's call this CLIENTVPS
This means we would have client websites on DEDICATED and CLIENTVPS
Can we setup the new CLIENTVPS as part of the existing cluster? So any new accounts added to CLIENTVPS will push over dns records to VPSDNS1 and VPSDNS2 ?
We have DEDICATED setup as "Syncronize changes" for its DNS role.
Is it as simple as going into WHM on CLIENTVPS and enabling DNS clustering and providing the credentials to VPSDNS1 ?
Are there any issues with DEDICATED and CLIENTVPS both pushing records to the same dns cluster?

Hi, Yes, you can add multiple servers in cluster. On the new server, you have to enable the clustering and just add it in the cluster like you added the first dedicated server in it.. 0 -

Hello, Yes, that's an acceptable configuration. However, are the two hosting servers owned an operated by the same person/company? If not, note the information in the following thread: Problem with domains in cluster Thank you.0
