Virtual Memory Size /opt/cpanel/ea-php56/root/usr/bin/php-cgi easyapache 4
Just a quick inquiry since I'm not sure how this works and most people have the opposite issue. (IE their memory limit is set to low and the sites are not working or they run a 2 GB ram vps and run out)
The multiphp environment, for example /opt/cpanel/ea-php56/root/usr/bin/php-cgi
What limits the total memory usage by that environment? IF, for example the memory limit for a domain or globally is set to 256 and csf (which I'm aware is not exactly cPanel staff's job to work with :) ) sees, say 1GB+ memory usage.
I'm assuming this is for more than one instance and the memory usage seen is the combined memory usage.
Hypothetically if I have 15 out of 20 GB ram free everything should be hunky dory tillI get about 100+ instances at the same time right? (Since the 256M limit is how much it asks the server to reserve for it not how much the instance actually uses while active)
(What promted this question; I'm already conditioned to ignore these csf messages but I'd like to confirm I'm understanding how things work:

Hello, There shouldn't actually be a limit on the memory usage of the PHP process (other than your system's available memory) unless you are using an application such as CloudLinux with LVE limitations enabled.
