    Hello, Yes, that would work as long as whatever corrupted or crashed the cPanel server didn't also corrupt data on the additional backup drive. Thank you.

    I use to send to a remote backup server, but because cPanel uses /backup defualt for temp directory i can't becuase it's only 100Gb size and if i change it to /home/backups it disables disk quotas :( I also use r1soft but i don't think you can restore sites to another server, and even if you could you would have to them one by one
