Your connection is not private

Hi So i installed an ssl certificate on my domain[removed], but whenever a user types [removed], he/she is redirected to [removed] instead of [removed] and ends up getting an error your connection is not private. what could be adding www infront of the domain and how to remove so as users to be taken to the right url where the certificate is installed? I have tried the redirects on cpanel, also tried changing .htaccess to no success. Any help will be appreciated. Am using wordpress and the links on wordpress is

  Hello, Have you checked to ensure there are no WordPress settings directing requests to a specific URL? EX: Changing The Site URL " WordPress Codex Thank you.

  Hi Michael, Thank you for the quick response. Yes i have done all that, still the www being added infront of the domain name. Regards
