Process Manager CPU %

I have a 16 core server. My server load stays around 1.14 which from my under standing Im using roughly 1 of my cores so I still have 15 cores not really being used. In my process manger its showing MYSQL taking up 74% of my CPU is that talking about just 1 core? What if I go over 100%? I am doing a lot of queries I'm averaging 741 per second which is about 2,666,041. I just want to know how I can scale up on my server. - Removed -

  Hi, That 74% may be limited to the usage of 1 core.. More cores get involved if it goes higher.. You can do a stress test on the MySQL to check this..
