Can i disable e-mail notifications when AutoSSL renew certificate?
Hello,
there are e-mail notifications when AutoSSL renews a certificate (maybe AutoSSL sends also other e-mails to cpanel users)
Example unwanted e-mail i received as a cpanel user:
Subject: "... AutoSSL certificate installed!"
I do not see a reason to send this to my cpanel users. Having root access, can i disable in WHM or via command line anyhow AutoSSL e-mails sent to the cpanel users? How please? Except i would like it to send e-mails that are of high importance (example SSL expired, was not renewed by AutoSSL - if there is any such e-mail sent). Thank You UPDATE: i think i found it, here seems to be explanation: SSL Notifications in cPanel 68 (Can be good if the AutoSSL / Options section has a link to contact manager or such so one can find this notification setting more easily)
Good news, AutoSSL has successfully renewed the Domain Validated (DV) certificate for "mydomainhere.com". This does not require any further action by you.

Hello, Yes, as you mentioned, this is discussed on the following thread: SSL Notifications in cPanel 68 Thank you. 0 -
Last night, all users with SSL certs on my server received these notifications. This, of course, resulted in a ton of inquiries. I don't see why this would be turned on by default, and with no documented way for an admin to easily disable the notifications for all users. Can anybody share how the cpanel user notifications can be disabled for all users? I would also suggest that this is made to be an option configurable by the server admin and not turned on by default. Thanks. Mike 0 -

I agree this is questionable and i would also prefer if it be disabled by default.how the cpanel user notifications can be disabled for all users?
I think there is a script that would disable it for all existing users. It is on page to which cPanelMichael linked in his last post: In Progress - SSL Notifications in cPanel 68 And then disable notifications as described in the post i linked in my first post of this topic (In Progress - SSL Notifications in cPanel 68) Not sure if that is all needed to disable it for existing and new users.0 -
v68.0.14 introduced 3 new AutoSSL notification settings in WHM >> SSL/TLS >> Manage AutoSSL > Options which would seem to be the result of the "Implemented case CPANEL-16842: Add options to disable AutoSSL notifications." I think the cPanel developers deserve the highest praise for both acknowledging the communities concerns, and acting so promptly to mitigate the unintended consequences of the new AutoSSL notifications feature. 0
