cphulk only for some ports
Hello
I want to keep ftp, cpanel and whm closed out of the country I live in but I wish that webmail and emails work from anywhere in the world.
CPHULK does not have the option to choose the port that I want to exclude from monitoring.
So I renamed the webmaild and dovecot files to webmaild1 and dovecot1
These files are inside the folder
/var/cpanel/cphulkd/keys
That solved my problem.
I see errors in the maillog (police error) but everything is working fine so far.
My question is, can this cause MYSQL to malfunction because CPHULK uses MYSQL?
Thank you

Hello, Have you considered using the "Host Access Control" feature instead? It's documented at: Host Access Control - Version 68 Documentation - cPanel Documentation Thank you. 0 -
Hi cPanelMichael The option is interesting but there is no way to use subnet. In the meantime I'm going to study a better solution. If the cphulk allow the choice of ports to be monitored, it would be perfect. Thank you Hello, Have you considered using the "Host Access Control" feature instead? It's documented at:

Hello, To specify a network range, add a network mask to the IP address. EX:192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0
You may also want to look into a firewall management utility such as CSF to see if any of it's options will help: ConfigServer Security & Firewall (csf) Thank you.0
