    Hello,
So why is Gmail blocking catch-all forwards from that dedicated IP but not regular emails? The support team for my hosting account has not had any luck getting this fixed thus far and seems to be clueless about how to get it resolved. Any thoughts/suggestions/help?

First, check to ensure your hosting provider is following the guidelines documented at: > Service Configuration >> Exim Configuration Manager >> Basic Editor". This option rewrites sender addresses so that the email appears to come from the forwarding mail server. This allows forwarded email to pass an SPF check on the receiving server. Otherwise, you may need to have them report the issue to Google using their contact form at:

I'm having a similar problem but presumed I needed to work through Gmail. However someone may know... Email coming from others and addressed to me@mydomain.com is forwarded to mypersonaladdress@gmail.com. Last February messages from AustraliaPost advising I have snailmail in my Post Office Box (real bricks n mortar) were initiated and it was great -only have to go to the Post Office every few days. A couple of weeks ago I realised that I was not receiving these notifications. Complained to the Post Office but their checks said it was all being done (what else?) I then looked in my domain mailbox and found there WERE such emails coming in but I was not seeing them at Gmail. Other similarly addressed emails (to me) were being correctly forwarded to Gmail and were working as intended, just not the emails forwarded by cPanel from Australia Post My immediate assumption was that I had somehow BLOCKed these messages.[You know... fingers rest on the keyboard and the beeps wake you up again ;<) ] Gmail documentation suggests you can block AND unblock email from specific addresses (it is a toggle switch/button.) Fiddling here did nothing to enable receipt of AustPost email. Behaviour is similar to this thread but NOT forwarded from a catchall. I am having other problems sorting email mailboxes, forwarders, etc after an unrequested migration to a newlymerged ISP a while back but they didn't seem to be very competent. I am now with an ISP of MY choosing . None of which solved any problems but at least I get answers within minutes/hours rather than the previous days/weeks. Reading this Forum shows me that the generated mailboxes and a named catch-all etc problems seem to be more common than I imagined. Cheers

Hello, Check to see if the "Enable Sender Rewriting Scheme (SRS) Support" option is enabled in "WHM >> Service Configuration >> Exim Configuration Manager >> Basic Editor". Also, ensure the domain name on the cPanel server has SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records configured. Thank you.

Might it not be easier to just have GMail "collect" the mail in the appropriate mail account every 20 minutes or so. OK, not as fast as forwarding, but it means there's less mail sent /to/ GMail from that IP (and even if blocked or placed on a blacklist, doesn't actually stop the incoming mail at the domain)... Also, doesn't depend on SPF, DKIM or DMARC, but Just grabs the mail periodically, and optionally puts a specific label on it within GMail account to allow one to notice new domain mail has arrived... I know some busy people expect mail to be instant, and get grumpy when a reply takes more than 10 minutes, but I was sending e-mail in the 80s on academic networks and it could take several days to get one way, so I try to educate people that the internet links, servers, etc, do sometimes go "out of service", and patience is golden !!
