Amazon S3 validation fails in backup
Following the instructions here How to configure Amazon S3 backups in WHM
This all seems so simple, in WHM > Backups, select S3 as the destination type.
Give it a name, fill in Bucket name, Access Key, Secret Key.
Click the Save and Validate button fails every time.
Tried creating buckets in different regions, I cannot create a connection.

Hi, You will have to check the cPanel error logs for more details on this because there could be more reasons for this validation failing.. The error logs will give you the correct information to investigate.. # tail -f /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_logs Execute the above command then click on validate on the WHM interface.. 0 -

Hello, Can you verify you setup the bucket name using lowercase characters? If not, could you set it up again using all lowercase characters to see if the issue persists? Thank you.0 -
