how to disable .htaccess - AllowOverride None for 1 account only

Hello, in a server I have Apache/2.4.25 with EasyApache 3 , and a customer requested to have AllowOverride set as None in his vhost (to disable .htaccess lookup and make it faster). I've found this post about customizing the vhost files (How do I disable htaccess for a specific domain in cpanel?) in the forum but its 6 years old so I'm not sure it will work without causing problems. Can someone verify that this is the right way ? Thank you.

  Hello, Yes, with EasyApache 3, those instructions should still work. Out of curiosity, is there any reason you prefer not to migrate to EasyApache 4? We recently published information about EA3's impending deprecation: EasyApache 3: It's been a long road, but it will be time to say goodbye soon. Thank you.
