CAA Policy
Hi
Could someone please answer me a simple question I hope, I have looked for an answer and googled everywhere but maybe the answers so simple no one has asked it so I am sorry if I sound stupid.
I am adding some CAA Policy to some domain names we have on a server, I know how to get into the DNA zone editor and I know where to enter the information I just need clarification if possible as to the syntax" as in does the comodoca.com part get entered the box with or without the "Quotation Marks"
I saw this on the Zone edit page so I thought I better check
The system concatenates character strings in TXT record values into a single string.
The system stores CAA records in the RFC 3597 format.
www.example.com. IN CAA 0 issue "comodoca.com"

HI .. Thank you for taking the time to reply, I actually set that up over the weekend without quotes on my server but I still get a DNS CAA is set to NO so I think something is still a miss. :( 0 -
Hello, If you add quotes to "comodoca.com" via "WHM >> Edit DNS Zone", does that correct the issue? Thank you. 0 -

HI Well I tried to change the records to have Quote's " " but it just removed them so I guess entering without is definitely the way, I checked them on Qualys SSL Labs but its still saying that my DNS CAA Policy is not correct so I am now at a bit of a loss as to which way to turn as that's the only option I was trying to figure out. :(0 -
