Correct way to use lve wrapper

Hello! We have noticed that clamsan scheduled scan for /home directories is taken around 50-100% CPU so we want to reduce it for some amount. We have tested cron job with 'lve_suwrapper ID' in front of the Cron Clamav run script. I have seen non answered questions about Clamav CPU load. Here is thread where CloudLinux is mentioned as cpulimit utility alternative without detailed description, so I have question : What is right way to limit /reduce Clamav CPU usage? Any recommendations / suggestions? Updated the topic because I have found the cause of the lost files. I'm opened to any suggestions: Is it safe to use low memory profile of the clamav? What is minimal system requirements of the clamav scan with default profile (I have determined that clamav is killed when the memory is to low)? Thank you!

  I found a thread in the CloudLinux forums (I know its about backups !!) that might be useful as Igor expands on the use of the ID part of the command. use lve wrapper to reduce I/O for cpbackup Hope this is some help.

  Thanks, I have already read this topic before I have made changes to my crontab. Now I'm asking for help with safe and trusted approach.

  I've looked into this; however, the wrapper is a binary, so I cannot see what/how it's doing things. I'd recommend asking in the CloudLinux forums. I'd also expect Igor's answer in the above-mentioned thread to be safe.
