Relative (incremental?) remote backup directory

Thoroughly enjoying using rsync for incremental remote backup and so far it's working well. One issue I have is that I've specified a directory (in this case /backup) for the remote transport, but the rsync job seems to be treating this as a relative directory rather than absolute. As a result, it's rsyncing to /home/user/backup instead. I'm pretty sure this was working as expected before - has something changed with recent releases? I've checked my configuration and all is well - with the absolute path /backup rather than just backup.

  Hi @chessmango, I believe this is related to the post below: Remote backup directory change? As a workaround, have you tried setting '/../backup' as the path to see if this helps? Thanks,

  Hi This worked perfectly, thanks! I used /../../backup/ to get to /backup.
