Configuring DNS

I have a KVM VPS that offers free anycast DNS through my server panel. Currently, I still have anycast enabled is it not possible to use it inside cpanel and if not will I have to disable it and use BIND instead?

  Hello, There's no support for direct integration with Anycast through cPanel & WHM. Thus, you could enable it and use it for DNS hosting purposes, but any zone additions/changes in cPanel/WHM are not automatically synced to the remote DNS server hosting your zones. Thank you.

  If i use BIND what are the disadvantages other than it being slower to update?

  Hi, The primary advantage to using Bind or PowerDNS (WHM >> Nameserver Selection) is that it's connected directly to your accounts in cPanel & WHM. For instance, any domain names that use name servers associated with the cPanel server will have their DNS records setup automatically (e.g. new subdomain creation, the ability to use "WHM >> Edit DNS Zone" or "cPanel >> Zone Editor").
