Copy to new server changed DNS

I setup a new dedicated server and copied a few accounts over that I will eventually move. However for whatever reason it changed the DNS for the sites on the current live server and now these sites are down. First of all why does copying an account from one server to another touch anything on the live server and now that the damage is done how do I fix it so the current sites on the original server work again? Manually changing the DNS back did nothing and the sites are still down.

  Hello, This looks similiar to the issue reported on the following thread: Transfer tool new behavior? Can you verify if both servers are connected to the same DNS cluster? Thank you.

  Thanks Michael, I did not setup a DNS cluster and no they are not clustered. All I did is the same thing I have been doing for years. I simply wanted to copy the account from one server to another. I was not expecting it to change anything or make edits of any kind but it did this without my authorization and there was zero indication it was going to change anything on the current live server. I will do this the old fashion way from now on and will no longer trust that cPanel has my best interest at heart. What this did was totally unexpected and uncalled for and caused me all sorts of unnecessary problems!

  Hello, Could you open a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can take a closer look to see what happened? The DNS records should not change on the source server unless the "Express Transfer" option is enabled. Thank you.
